the reason I ask is 1, when I tried to start Sky Translate before the upgrade (It didn't start automatically), it automatically started to update. I would have expected it to ask or just tell me there was an update. 2, and more importantly, your Release tab does NOT indicate any update for September. I will probably roll back my Windows 7 to pre update until I'm sure your site has not been hacked with a rogue version of your program. My installation completed by the way. Though I initially aborted and noted trying to update in one way DID generate the error you mention, but your site said the reporting page was unavailable?! I love your program but some reassurance would be nice!

New version 1.0034 still not working.
"Skype Translate has stopped working" while installing
I see that everyone seems to be having problems with this version. Is anyone working on fixing it? I'm trying to use Clownfish, but it just doesn't work as well. I can't get it to connect to the auto settings in Skype at all. I keep having to change the settings.
I uninstalled everything, rebooted, and reinstalled the new version. I'm still getting the same error message. Nothing has changed for me.
I have windows 7 Professional 64. I was using the program and about a week ago it quit translating. I uninstalled and attempted to install 1.0.3.3. It gets to validating install, then crashes giving this message. "Application cannot be started. Contact the application vendor." Here are the details.

Vista 32 bit here and latest skype, working now after deleting stuff under appdata/local/apps/2.0, not sure WHAT i deleted as I binned everything :-) but no other program effected and it is now working. Thanks admin, this prog is a lifesaver for my marriage to be across the World!
Cannot even install skype Translate. It say it has stopped working as soon as you try to install.

I have uninstalled, removed the hidden files, rebooted, and reinstalled, and I am getting the same error. Any other suggestions??
i answered to fast. Everything works perfect. I just started anything new. Thank you so much. It is the only way for me to speak to my cousins :-)

Before installing the new version, uninstall all previous versions (you might have more than one),
What is you OS (version 32/64)
What is the best way to completely uninstall? Where are all the hidden files? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and it still crashes on start. My OS is Windows 7 64 bit, and I'm using Skype version 5.1.32.112.
Thanks for the update. It works nice again under W7 32 and 64bit. I uninstalled and removed all
the remaining traces to the older version - in the hidden user folder
AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\
